For vaccination of healthy cattle to induce resistance to Salmonella infections caused by the following micro-organisms: Salmonella dublin and Salmonella typhimurium, Bovine isolates.
In areas where salmonella infections have been a problem, adult cattle, pregnant cows and new born calves should all be given 2 injections of 2 mL each at an interval of 14-21 days. Boost immunity in pregnant cows with an annual 2 mL injection. Vaccinate adult cattle prior to placing on feed and pregnant cows 4-6 weeks before calving time. Newborn calves should be left on cows for 7 days at which time the bacterin can be administered.
All injections should be subcutaneous. Meat withdrawal: 21 days.
